I felt great today, maybe it was because the day before I had increased my total number of blocks back to where I should be. I can’t think of anything else that changed, so we’ll see.
Anyway, the workout on Thursday was :
10-20-30
Push Press (95#)
med ball cleans (20#)
rest 2 minutes
run 800 m
rest 2 minutes
run 800 m
I finished the push press and med ball cleans in 8:22, and I was able to do the rx’d weight which I was excited about. My first run was 4:35, and my second run was 3:41. I had a better effort on the second run mostly because I was still really tired from the workout during the first run. My total time was 20:38. Overall I was very pleased with my effort today, I think my diet had a lot to do with it. I felt the same energy level that I felt when I first started the zone. That flu I had I think really messed me up, and I feel like now I really am back on track.

What block prescription are you following?

I am on 17/10/38. That is what Brian originally suggested when I started foundations in February.
